2008 QUIET STORM MD STATES IS ON
heats enter water 7am at the Ocean City Inlet

There will be a very limited amount of beach entries to fill heats only.
This was a pre-contest entry only.
Also, if you haven't sent in your Eastern's entry, Saturday will be the final
day to turn in your entry and payment.

The 2008 Quiet Storm Maryland State Championships will start tomorrow at 7am at the Ocean City Inlet in Ocean City, MD. Conditions will be challenging, testing your small technical wave skills and an excellent primer for Easterns just in case Hatteras doesn't deliver. Be sure to bring the right equipment!

Not only are surfers competing for their division titles but everyone is competing for a place on the 2009 DMV ALL STAR TEAM!
Your district participation is one of the main factors in determining your eligibility for the ALL STAR TEAM! If you are a competitor and are interested in being selected for the DMV All star Team you better be spending some time in the judges chairs. Get Involved!
2008 OPEN SHORTBOARD SEASON CHAMPION RACE
A big shake-up in the standings of the OPEN SHORTBOARD POINTS RACE after contest #3 for the Free ROUND TRIP TICKET to next years regionals event in Puerto Rico (Sponsored by Studio S Jewelry,Engraving,& Gifts). Dillon Harrington is currently leading with 2195 points. The top six stand like this:

This is only the halfway point of the 2008 season! This race is still really close and Waldon, in 2nd place, only has two results in his total point standing. Who's gonna step up and walk with that plane ticket to Puerto Rico???

It's Official.... Chris & Cammie Makibben have been voted in by the Eastern Surfing Association board of directors as Co-Directors alongside of me for the Delmarva District! I want to thank them personally for all their time and effort they selflessly put into the district.
